Joining the choir is an opportunity to explore the rich and beautiful world of Swedish choral music, and you’ll discover that you don’t need to be fluent in Swedish or have extensive singing experience to be a valued member of our choir.
Who is Vasa Drängar: The Vasa Drängar Atlanta Men’s choir, founded in 1996, is a diverse and passionate group of individuals who share a love for music. We specialize in performing Swedish songs across the US, many of which are in English or a mix of languages. While we cherish our Swedish heritage, you don’t need to know the Swedish language to join us; music is a universal language that connects us all. Here you can read more about us.

Requirements: Our only requirement is that you must be able to read music, at least passably. This skill is essential for following sheet music and harmonizing with the rest of the choir. While prior experience in a choir is beneficial, it’s not necessary. We welcome all levels of singers, from beginners to seasoned performers. Oh yes, there is one more requirement, you must be male as this is an all male choir.

Rehearsals: We typically hold rehearsals on Monday at 7pm in Atlanta GA near West Paces Ferry, Howell Mill, Buckhead just off I-75 inside the perimeter. These sessions are not only about practicing music but also about having fun and building connections with fellow choir members.
